Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026

The terms that govern your use of the QuidQuo website and platform. Please read them carefully.

01Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the QuidQuo website and platform (the “Service”), operated by QuidQuo, Cairo, Egypt (“QuidQuo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” includes it.

02The Service

QuidQuo is a venture platform staffed by AI agents. Coordinated by Aether, the agents assess your venture, help build its investment case and materials, and help you manage your fundraising. Agents draft and recommend; you decide. Nothing is sent to an investor or any third party without your confirmation.

03Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to your venture.
  • Tell us promptly at info@quidquo.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

04Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create on the platform (“Your Content”), including your venture record and the materials produced for it. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and use Your Content only to provide, secure and support the Service, and, where you have given your separate consent, to improve it using anonymised patterns.

You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for Your Content, including any personal data about other people it contains, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or the law.

05AI outputs and no professional advice

Outputs are generated by AI agents from the information available to them. They may be incomplete or wrong, and every output carries the confidence of the evidence behind it. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.

Not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. QuidQuo prepares ventures and structures raises. It does not move capital, deal in securities, act as a broker or arranger, or give regulated advice. Consult qualified professionals before making investment, legal or tax decisions.

06Plans, payment and cancellation

  • Your first venture assessment is free.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period at the price shown when you subscribe, plus any applicable taxes. Prices may change with notice before your next period.
  • You can cancel at any time; your plan continues until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable.
  • If a payment fails we may limit paid features until it is resolved. Your venture record stays yours.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent, including misrepresenting a venture to investors;
  • upload content you have no right to share, or malicious code;
  • attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or disrupt the Service;
  • reverse engineer, scrape or copy the platform, its frameworks or its outputs to build a competing service;
  • use the Service to send unsolicited communications.

08Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, agents, frameworks, methods, design and brand, belongs to QuidQuo and its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation to you.

09Third-party services

The Service may connect to third-party services you choose to use. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

10Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you have paid for.

11Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. QuidQuo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, or the outcome of any fundraising or investment decision. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12Indemnity

You agree to compensate QuidQuo for claims and losses arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.

13Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, or where required by law. On closure you can export your venture record for a reasonable period, after which data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

14Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have.

15Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and notify you of material changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
